Credit.......Credit Scores.
Apr 25 2008
NOW, more than ever, good Credit and having high Credit Scores are as important as they ever have been. If you think your Scores are important today, they will be more important tomorrow. I always tell people that when they wake up in the morning, they should thank God they are alive, and to add a quick thank you for the good Credit Scores.
Credit…….Credit Scores. These are three of the scariest words you can hear nowadays. How many time have you heard of someone denied credit due to information in your credit Report? Or denied due to a low Credit Score? Or getting approved for a loan or credit card at a ridiculous interest rate? These are all very, very common in today’s world.
NOW, more than ever, good Credit and having high Credit Scores are as important as they ever have been. If you think your Scores are important today, they will be more important tomorrow. I always tell people that when they wake up in the morning, they should thank God they are alive, and to add a quick thank you for the good Credit Scores.
You cannot do anything in today’s world without having your Credit report pulled. Get a new cell phone, apply for a job, looking for an apartment, open up a checking account…the higher your Scores are, the lower your car insurance is. Later this year they will be using Credit Scores in the health industry. Almost anything you do, they will want to look at your Credit Report.
If you are thinking of doing anything that involves any type of credit, check your report, correct any errors that may be bringing down your Credit Scores. Be proactive, get your Credit fixed before you are under a deadline.
What I do is assist and EDUCATE people about their credit and help them raise their Credit Scores. Just because you have low Scores now does not mean you are stuck with them for life. But they will not go up by themselves You need to correct whatever is causing your Scores to be low and start doing things differently.
Remember, Credit Scores do not tell people if you have good or bad Credit. What the Scores tell you is 1) how you HANDLE your Credit, 2) how you MANAGE your Credit and 3) how you REPAY your Credit
If you can do those three things, you will see your Scores increase.
